Week 4 - Who we are

This week we explored the passage in Colossians 3 which reminds us of the amazing change that has already taken place in those who are 'in Christ'. The 'old self' has been put off and the 'new self' put on. We draw our identity and our purpose from our relationship with Jesus, we have died with him and have been raised to new life with him. The work of renewal goes on as the Spirit works in our lives to make us more like Christ with compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness and peace, all bound together in perfect harmony with love. We grow as we let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts, let his word dwell in us and join together in fellowship and worship.
